Preliminary Procedure Before Entering Site

Site Operational Hours

Site operational hours are between 07:00 and 21:00. Any works outside of these hours need to be organised in advance with the Operational Controller.

Ensure that you contact WFSO Operational Controller +353 (0) 21 7355898 prior to site access and again when leaving.

There is a WFSO Health and Safety file readily available for all parties to refer to; retained in the substation with appropriate general safety information and all persons should familiarise themselves with this.

Should any further specific information be required, the WFSO Operational Controller(OC) has access to all drawings and information for the site including its infrastructure and this can be made available by notifying the operational controller.

COVID 19 Measures

WFSO have implemented preventative measures across all of our operational windfarms. Information on these measures can be found in the ‘COVID 19 Prevention’ document. You will be sent this document upon completion of the induction. WFSO ask that you read this document carefully prior to entering site.

All required security or alarm codes will be provided by Operational Controller as necessary.

  • Phone Signal

    Phone signal on site can be intermittent and weak and this should be closely monitored by all personnel at all times.

  • Additional Activities

    Tree harvesting and farming occur at or near the site throughout the year. Additional hazards come from these activities hence extra vigilance is required.
