Assembly Point / Incident Reporting
In the event of an evacuation; all staff are to gather at the site assembly point but as not to cause an obstruction to any emergency vehicles. There are 4 entrances used on the windfarm. 1 to the substation area and 1 to each of the 3 sections of the windfarm. There are 4 different assembly points (1 at each site entrance and 1 beside the substation building) which are highlighted on the site map. If the site is evacuated, a head count will be carried out at the assembly point by the lead technician or subcontractor supervisor who will also contact the OC.
Prompt reporting of any accident, incident, injury or significant near miss is paramount. These should be reported to the site manager and OC at the safest and earliest opportunity. In the case of a serious injury, raise the alarm and call for help immediately if safe to do so. The nearest hospital to the site is Kerry General Hospital located in Tralee.

First aid provision are located in the substation and in each WTG if required. If ANY first aid equipment is used, the Operational Controller must be informed.
There are good welfare facilities at the substation. The water on the site is not suitable for drinking and a fresh supply of bottled drinking water should remain readily available.
